Yori Hook is the intern for the Stephenson Ocean Security Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. She supports projects exploring the relationship between maritime security, ocean health, and sustainability. Prior to joining CSIS, she worked in government affairs at the Oregon State Legislature and conducted her senior research on fisheries management policy. She has also spent time working in the Alaskan commercial salmon industry as a quality control technician. Yori graduated cum laude from Willamette University with a B.A. in politics and minors in environmental science and economics.
